Demarco is now a freshman at Penn State and was recruited to play on the Penn State Basketball team (Coach Bibey).  During the pandemic, he did not give up his dream to go to college and play college basketball and graduated from Wheaton High School in Silver Spring, Maryland (Class of 2020).  He was chosen to represent his class at his graduation and gave a gave a heartfelt speech on behalf of his class during the pandemic.  He was also awarded several scholarships to include a $5,000 scholarship from the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation.  

He spent the summer prior to his senior year of high school playing AAU Basketball with Team S.T.A.T. and won several Hoop Group championships in the 17U division, bringing home the trophy for the Spring and Summer Jam Fests sponsored by "Hoop Group"; as well as other local tournaments in the DMV area.  Demarco worked as a Camp Counselor while helping to lead his high school's Summer League team.  Further showing his dedication to his goals, he trained all year and has lost over 25 pounds and has enhanced his agility and skill on an even higher level.  

Demarco was also a member of the Wheaton H.S. football team playing the position of Wide Receiver, Tight End, and Defensive Tackle.  His 4th year of Men's Varsity Volleyball in the Spring was cancelled due to the pandemic. 

As a result of his hard work and dedication; while in all Honors classes all four years, was accepted into 12 colleges as a result of his hardwork taking all Honors and AP courses.  He is a leader among his peers in the community serving as a member of the Black Student Union, the National Art Society, and his work during the election seasons.
